The Tampa Bay Lightning swept the Florida Panthers to advance to the third round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Tampa Bay defeated Florida with a score of 2-0 in Game 4 on Monday night at Amalie Arena. The Lightning are seeking a historic three-peat, after winning back-to-back Stanley Cups in 2020 and 2021.

Andrei Vasilevskiy recorded an impressive 49 saves in the shutout, while forward Pat Maroon put Tampa Bay up 1-0, and Ondrej Palat added an empty-netter with 23 seconds left in the game.

Next up, Tampa Bay will face the winner of the Carolina Hurricanes-New York Rangers series in the Eastern Conference final.
