A St. Joseph non-profit organization, United Way of Greater St. Joseph, is seeking volunteers for its annual allocations process to determine funding for important causes like education, financial stability, and health in the community. Over 160 community members volunteered during the 2025 process, and volunteers for the 2026 process are expected to dedicate 10 to 15 hours across April and May. Recommendations from volunteers will be reviewed by the United Way Community Investment Council and Board of Directors to allocate funds to partner agencies. Those interested in volunteering can contact Jodi Flurry at United Way at 816-364-2381.
