Residents in St. Joseph, Missouri, voiced both support and opposition to a proposed zoning change for a plot of land on South 22nd Street near 11th Street Road where a gymnastics and preschool facility is planned to be located. The City Council held a public hearing where nearly a dozen residents shared their views on the rezoning of the 10-acre plot from single-family residential to commercial. The hearing lasted for an hour before the City Council voted on the rezoning proposal.
