The City of St. Joseph will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the placement of the City Hall cornerstone and time capsule with a ceremony on March 27. The event will include a formal cornerstone rededication ceremony led by the Grand Lodge of Missouri, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons. St. Joseph Mayor John Josendal will deliver remarks before opening the historic time capsule. The celebration marks the kickoff to the city’s formal recognition of the 100th anniversaries of City Hall and the Missouri Theater next summer. Community members are invited to attend and participate in honoring St. Joseph’s history and heritage.
