The YMCA will broke ground on the Mid-America National Aquatic Center, offering a 50-meter pool with 10 lanes, diving boards, and spectator area. The facility will also include a multipurpose pool with water play features, aerobics lanes, and ADA-accessible locker rooms. Programming will include water aerobics, swim lessons, recreational swimming, competitive training, and aqua therapy. The facility is set to be completed by the fall of 2027.
