A male juvenile sustained injuries in a Tuesday evening evening shooting which is currently under investigation by the St. Joseph Police Department.

The St. Joseph Police Department reported responding to a shots fired call around 6pm on Tuesday evening at South 18th and Charles Streets. When officers arrived the male juvenile had sustained injuries and was transported to Mosaic Life Care for treatment.

Currently, no one is in custody. Investigators do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the public.

The incident remains under investigation and the St. Joseph Police Department said no additional information is being released at this time.
