The 15th annual Husky 5K Run took place to raise funds for the Helen Davis State School and their sensory garden, benefiting students with disabilities. Over 200 runners participated, generating between $3,000 and $5,000 for the project. The sensory garden will engage all five senses and provide therapeutic benefits for students. The school hopes the fundraiser will raise awareness and involvement in the community, welcoming donations and volunteers to help with the project.
