The St. Joseph Convention and Visitors Bureau revealed that Buchanan County’s tourism revenue has risen steadily over the past three years, reaching $239 million in 2025. In 2025, more than 218,000 hotel rooms were booked in the city. Christian Mengel, the Communications and Marketing Director, emphasized the significance of the tourism industry’s economic impact on the community. To accommodate the increasing number of visitors, St. Joseph is set to welcome three new hotels.
