The City of St. Joseph will convert two downtown parking structures into surface lots due to long-term structural concerns. The project will start with the closure of the Fourth and Felix streets parking garage near St. Joseph Civic Arena on May 18, followed by the Sixth and Jules streets garage. The upper portions of both structures will be removed, and they will function as surface parking lots.
