Two separate car accidents occurred in Atchison County Kansas over the weekend, with one involving a 19-year-old driver who crashed into a tree and was transported to the hospital for possible injuries. Alcohol is suspected to have been a factor in this crash. In a separate incident, a 32-year-old driver crashed into a fence and tree after suffering a medical emergency while driving. Additionally, two drivers were cited for speeding just under 100 mph in separate incidents on U.S. highways in recent days. The Kansas Highway Patrol has reported an increase in drivers exceeding 100 mph in the state since 2013.
