MoDOT has announced a road project for Route FF and 49th Street, near Highway 169.

The plan is to widen the intersection there, and add concrete aprons to allow easier turns for tractor trailers.

Traffic width will be restricted to 10 feet, and the area may have flaggers. Access to 49th Street will be closed from the 16th until June.

Work is expected to be done by mid-August.

This is a separate project, in addition to work just down Highway 169 at Southeast Riverside Terrace.
