ANDREW COUNTY—Three people were injured in an accident just before 1p.m. Monday in Andrew County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2022 Ford F150 driven by a 29-year-old Newell, South Dakota, man was turning from northbound Business U.S. 71 to Northbound Interstate 29. As the pickup crossed the southbound Business 71, a southbound 2014 Toyota Highlander driven by a 32-year-old St. Joseph woman struck the rear passenger side of the pickup. After impact a 2003 Infiniti FX35 driven by an 18-year-old St. Joseph woman rear-ended the Toyota.

Andrew County EMS transported a 17-year-old  and a 19-year-old, both of St. Joseph, passengers in the pickup and the driver of the Toyota to Mosaic Life Care. There were no other injuries reported. All were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
