Atchison man Zachary Voelker receives probation after pleading guilty to charges of aggravated endangering a child and aggravated battery. The charges stemmed from an Atchison Police investigation in December of last year, where officers found an injured child under the age of 2 at Voelker’s home. Voelker was sentenced to 30 months in prison, but the court suspended the sentence and placed him on probation with community corrections for 2 years. He also received a no-contact order and was ordered to pay costs and fees.
