Black Veil Brides perform live at Manchester Academy Uk. Manchester^ United Kingdom^ 22nd February 2023

Black Veil Brides have unveiled “Cut,” the latest preview from their upcoming seventh studio album, Vindicate, which arrives May 8. The dramatic track features guest vocals from Lilith Czar, the wife of frontman Andy Biersack, and highlights the band’s signature mix of hard rock and cinematic orchestration.

“Cut” marks the eighth song released ahead of Vindicate, which also includes previously shared tracks such as “Bleeders,” “Hallelujah,” “Revenger,” “Certainty,” and the album’s title song. The record follows the band’s 2021 release, The Phantom Tomorrow.

The song arrives alongside a visually striking music video directed by Max Moore, inspired by ‘Corpse Bride.’ The clip follows a haunting love story in which Biersack attempts to stitch his wife back together for one final moment before losing her again. Adding a personal touch, the couple wore the same wedding outfits from their real-life ceremony a decade ago and renewed their vows during filming.

Discussing the track, Biersack shared, “‘Cut’ is a song that for me, is one of those songs in your catalog that feels like you were able to achieve exactly what you wanted to achieve when making it.  I feel like Lillith’s voice and presence on this song is absolutely perfect. On the lyrical side, just knowing how much the concepts resonate with both me and Lilith makes it all the more special and then to get to shoot this incredible video together it just feels like a career highlight all around. It’s one of my favorite songs we’ve ever done.”
