BUCHANAN COUNTY—Five people were injured in an accident just before 3p.m. Friday in Buchanan County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Toyota Camry driven by a 29-year-old Heavener, Oklahoma man was northbound on Interstate 29 three miles south of Faucett.  The car rear-ended a 2019 GMC Acadia driven by a 51-year-old Kansas City, Missouri woman. The impact pushed the GMC into the back of a 2009 Chevy Silverado driven by and Overland Park, Kansas man.

EMS transport all three driver and two passengers in the GMC including a 47-year-old man and a 13-year-old boy to Mosaic Life Care.  All five were propearly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
