Missouri Western State University hosted the Make48 finalists from the St. Joseph School District, where student teams presented their project pitches focused on solving real-world problems. One of the finalist teams, including Central High School senior Sitina Abbl, designed an alternative toolbox to aid line workers in carrying tools more comfortably and reducing physical strain. Abbl expressed nervousness but saw the presentation as a valuable experience to support the work of line workers. The event provided students with a platform to showcase their innovative solutions and gain practical presentation skills.
