The Andrew County Aquatics Initiative (ACAI) has successfully raised over $900,000 to renovate and reopen the Savannah Aquatics Center after announcing its closure in 2025. A ribbon-cutting event will be held on May 21st to mark the reopening of the center, located at 1215 West Chestnut St. The 2026 season will begin on May 23, and information on reservations and ticket prices can be found on the ACAI website. The initiative aims to continue operating the center for the community to enjoy.
